In Seattle, cafes are the social hub of each neighborhood. They are the place where people go to wake up, eat, work, and meet friends ... sometimes all in the same day. One of our favorites is Oddfellows Cafe on Capitol Hill. You'll find it on 10th Avenue between the calm of Cal Anderson Park and commotion of the bars and restaurants of Pike Street.

What sets Oddfellows apart from other cafes is its grand size and personality. The huge wall of windows and tall ceilings of the 100-year-old Odd Fellows building creates an atmosphere unlike any other in the city. There are multiple seating options including two outdoor patios and the interior is sparsely decorated with pieces of antique Americana and hints of mercantile shops of the past. Once inside you'll find affordable comfort food, good coffee and other drinks served by a great staff of familiar faces. Don't be surprised if you find yourself visiting early for breakfast and back again for cocktails at night.
