The Flat Hem Shirt is the minimalist version of an everyday button-down. True to its namesake, the bottom hem is cut flat across, lending a strong line and a clean finish. The collar is short, slightly square, and subtly spread. The sleeves feature a button at the cuff, and one at the wrist. Constructed with French seams throughout, and finished with shatter proof Corozo buttons.
A high-density cotton cloth that's woven on vintage shuttle looms by a small scale fourth generation family-run mill based in Hamamatsu. A true craft with such a high level of dedication and discipline. The crisp, tight weave keeps the fabric hanging away from the body maintaining its own structure while still being extremely lightweight, a great characteristic in warm, humid climates.
