Danner Boots: Stumptown Collection

by alisa furoyama | September 11, 2011

Reading and watching videos about Danner makes me really wish I needed a new pair of hiking boots. The company found success in the thirties making durable leather footwear for loggers and then expanded to building all-purpose work boots for Americans working in the shipyards and factories during the second world war. I love that each pair is still handmade down in Portland, Oregon and can be completely re-crafted.  The boots shown below are from their Stumptown Collection of hiking and mountain boots.
