Polyscias balfouriana, ‘Aralia’

$18 to $185 [SOLD OUT]

Native to New Guinea and Queensland, Australia, the Polyscias balfouriana (commonly known as the Aralia plant) makes a beautiful and showy indoor plant.

LIGHT: These plants prefer bright indirect light or direct morning sun. Avoid direct strong, afternoon light.

WATER: Water thoroughly, then allow the top 20% of soil to dry out before watering again. Yellow leaves usually indicate overwatering while brown, crispy leaves usually mean the plant needs more water. Keep the soil even drier in lower light. Overwatering causes leaf drop. Mist the leaves often to maintain high humidity.

TEMPERATURE: An ideal range is 70-80 degrees. Keep plant away from cold drafts, air conditioners, heaters, and fireplaces.

FERTILIZERFertilize during their active growing season when they are producing new leaves (spring-fall).

NOTES: These plants are toxic and should be kept away from pets and children.
