The silence of the desert is the quieting of our souls. A week in Joshua Tree left us with fleeting memories of coyotes in the distance, a chorus of insects at sunrise and the most blood-orange sunsets. There were neighboring wildfires that enhanced the colors and the heat just never subsided. There's so much beauty in the sun drenched National Park we had to snap a few of our favorites in the shade of towering boulders and silly shaped Joshua Trees.
