Norse Projects embodies a Scandinavian design aesthetic by using clean lines, beautiful materials and clever details. Their autumn - winter '17 collection of men's and women's clothing was inspired by the Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson and his interests in perception, movement and the embodied experience.
Olafur Eliasson often works with the Scandinavian landscape, serving to encapsulate the experience of participation in nature. It was this idea that resonated so strongly with the core values of Norse Projects; fostering creativity, technical accomplishment, and appreciation of the outdoors. The ever-shifting landscapes of ice and rock in and the moss-covered rocky outcrops and waterways form the basis of the collection’s textural expression. Rich moss and dry greens come through in soft, textural knits, hard-wearing and structured fabrics. Join us in October as we host Norse Projects team members and the Norse Projects women's collection for the first time in Seattle.
