What started as a one-woman operation entirely designed, produced and sold in Oakland, CA has become a brand with global reach. While still designed in Oakland, their production now spans California, a woman-owned knitwear co-op in Peru, and small, fair-trade certified factory in India. With growth, the line insists on maintaining the highest possible standards of ethics and sustainability, even at the cost of extreme selectivity of potential partnerships.
