Evan Kinori Three Pocket Jacket, Heavy Brushed Wool Check
$895
in a contemporary shape. This style features a traditional wide, loose fit, with a simple four-button front, one chest pocket, and two large catch-all pockets. Constructed with french seams, engineer cuffs, angled waist pockets, veg-tan leather washer backed YKK buttons, curved collar tips and ‘cut away’ curve at the hem. A hand-numbered edition.
Cut from a yarn dyed heavy woolen twill check with a brushed face. Woven on old shuttle looms with woolen yarn spun in Japan from a mixture of British and New Zealand wool - these raw materials are characterized by a dry and robust hand. The cloth feels a bit airy and lofty, deceiving you of the weight. Coming out of this particular weaving mill's archive, the cloth was originally developed in the early 1990's. With some challenges in sourcing the yarn and changing the construction a bit, they were able to reproduce it. It was then brushed to blur the weaving structure and pattern, which also helps bring softness and warmth to the fabric.
