Aniline dyes soak into the leather leaving visible the natural variation in grain and texture. The more aniline dyed leather is used, the better the surface patina gets over time. Pressed Cotton fabric is made with the same machines that were used to make very durable tent fabric. The base color of the white threads will become more apparent and it will soften with use.

This type of cloth is more difficult to make but results in a garment that will age better. This is similar to the way 1920's vintage workwear was made and what gave those classic pieces their reliability over the ages.

The Bolognese manufacturing process gives these shoes outstanding flexibility and lightness. They are a highly versatile and mobile design that can be worn anywhere. The insole is cushioned for a soft and comfortable fit. The Vibram sole also features outstanding lightness, cushioning, durability, and grip. In addition, apart from the same-colored shoelaces in the set, special shoelaces are included, which arehand-dyed one by one by skilled craftsmen at a historical dyeing factory in Kyoto. Just like the leather, the laces will also enjoy a unique change over time as they are worn more and more.
