An unstructured unisex blazer with a deep v neckline, drop shoulders and a boxy silhouette. Made from a crisp slightly wrinkled Japanese cotton, dyed and sun-dried in the traditional Azumadaki process. A lightweight jacket that can be worn and layered with throughout the year. Detailed with a three button front, slim lapel and side welt pockets.
The dyeing process in Azumadaki, which has been in use for 300 years, is carried out in small vats by skilled artisans. They take into consideration the temperature and humidity of the day. This small-scale dyeing process, followed by sun drying, results in unique textured fabric, giving it a soft and relaxed feel.
Due to the nature of this craftsmanship, each fabric roll has unique coloration with natural wrinkles.
