A looser fitting button-down shirt with a large dropped single chest pocket and a relaxed fit through the body. Fabrication was developed together with a legendary textile designer now in his 80's - based in the Bishu region of Japan. A medium weight cloth is woven with linen from France. It has a dark brown weft which hides in the background and adds a warm, rich depth to the navy, crimson and grey vertical stripes in the warp. Tumble washed and sun dried after weaving for a dry crinkly hand. Finished with corozo buttons, french seams, squared cuffs, curved hem and ‘invisible’ placket. Hand numbered edition.
