Based on the fit of the Two Pleat Pant, this is a relaxed fitting short featuring slash front pockets, single rear button through welt pocket, ‘clean finish’ cotton bound seams throughout, corozo buttons, ‘hollywood’ waistband construction, bound button fly and single needle belt loops.
Cut from a soft, unstructured linen herringbone cloth. woven with a yarn dyed stripe, the finished cloth was then overdyed by hand to achieve an irregular deeper saturation of color, and to render the stripe more subtle. Woven in the Bishu region of Japan.
