A unique mud-dyed oxblood bag assembled from four rectangular panels to create this angular bag. Constructed from a traditional fabric from Southern China, treated through a process of natural dying and oxidation which creates a metallic sheen. This process involves dying the fabric repeatedly with the tannin-rich yellow and red juice of the local Shuliang yarn and extensive sun exposure in open fields. Padded with a 100% virgin wool for added padding and structure. This style can be worn cross body or over the shoulder. Secured with pull tab on the straps of the bag.
