Peperomia argyreia 'Watermelon'
$10 to $12 [sold out]
Peperomia plants come from the Amazon region of South America. They are semi-succulents with easy-to-grow care habits. There are over 1600 varieties of peperomias all belonging to the Pepper family. This specific variety is named after the watermelon for its similarity of appearance to the rind of a watermelon.
LIGHT: Bright, indirect light or direct morning sun. Plants can adapt to low light levels.
WATER: Allow top 50% of soil to dry between waterings. Peperomias love humid environments and are well-suited for terrariums, however they can rot quickly if exposed to too much moisture in the soil.
FERTILIZER: Once per month during the active growing season.
SOIL: Plants must have a well-draining soil medium to ensure the roots do not rot.
PROPAGATION: These plants propagate from leaf or stem cuttings.
