Ficus microcarpa, also known as Chinese banyan, Malayan banyan, Indian laurel, curtain fig, or gajumaru, is a tree in the fig family Moraceae. It is native in a range from China through tropical Asia and the Caroline Islands to Australia. Ficus Moclame is one of the easier of the ficus trees to care for.
LIGHT Bright, indirect light or direct morning sun. Some direct sun is beneficial.
WATER Allow top 25% of soil to dry between waterings, then water thoroughly. Yellow leaves or leaf drop of green leaves usually indicates too much water. Brown, shriveled leaves usually indicate the plant needs more wtaer.
FERTILIZER 1x/mo spring through fall with an all purpose houseplant food.
