A Cotton Japan made fabric that with repeated washings it gets softer and softer. All thickness is created with luxurious tightly woven fibers and layered fabric. This type of cloth is more difficult to make but results in a garment that will age better. This is similar to the way 1920's vintage workwear was made and what gave those classic pieces their reliability over the ages.
