This month's full moon is just a few days before this year's Winter Solstice. December's Cold Moon is named for the frigid temperatures this month in the Northern Hemisphere. It's also called the Moon Before Yule, which refers to ancient Pagan winter solstice celebrations of the darkest day of the year and at the same time, signifies the transition towards the light. Slightly longer days are just ahead. This arrangement is inspired by December's moon and is a celebration of winter. This centerpiece makes for a thoughtful gift or hostess present, or adorn the table for an upcoming holiday gathering.
In collaboration with Jess Gring of Odd Flowers, this holiday floral arrangement available to preorder for local Seattle delivery or in-store pickup on Friday, December 20.
This floral design is apart of our Solstice floral subscription service in collaboration with Odd Flowers. To sign up for this quarterly service, please use this link instead.
Each of our arrangements is a unique and handmade expression. As flowers and plant material are a product of nature, their availability is subject to change depending on variables like climate and seasonality. We may make substitutions within the same design palette.
