Create your own self-sustaining world in glass. In this hands-on workshop, participants will be guided through the process of building a closed terrarium, designed to thrive with minimal intervention. Learn about the history and science behind these miniature ecosystems while exploring planting techniques, layering methods, and long-term care. Led by our in-store plant experts, each guest will leave with a closed terrarium and the knowledge to keep it flourishing.
Guests are welcome to bring their own glass vessels to create additional terrariums during the workshop. Our team will adapt the techniques to suit each shape and size. A variety of plants will be available to purchase on-site with a $5 potting fee per extra vessel. A little extra time will be set aside at the end of each workshop to support open studio creations.
Sunday, Sept 7 from 11 am - 12:30 pm
