A looser fitting button down shirt with a dropped shoulder and longer body. Featuring a relaxed chest, corozo button front, and squared cuffs. Cut from a kasuri worsted wool check cloth originally developed in the 1990s by a textile designer in Ichinomiya, Japan. Beginning with Australian merino wool, the kasuri (ikat) dye process creates an irregular check pattern, woven loosely with a gauze structure and then washed to tighten the weave for a puckered texture. The resulting cloth is airy and lightweight with a very dry hand, making it a transitional three season fabric. Finished with french seams throughout.
