Quinton and Nadia Jefferson bring a calm, thoughtful presence to everything they do. Grounded and intentional, they approach both their creative work and daily life with care. We first met Quinton when he was working as a defensive end for the Seattle Seahawks, having just recently relocated from the East Coast to the Pacific Northwest. In his latest project, he channels his love of design and music into Nomad Studios, an independent fashion label centered on self-expression and storytelling. Nadia is a writer, educator, and visual artist who moves fluidly across disciplines, bringing depth and reflection into her practice. After spending several years in cities across the country, their return to Seattle marks a reconnection with the people and places that feel most like home. Together, they reflect a creative life shaped by community, family, and purpose. Featuring styled looks from Kapital, MAN-TLE, Sillage, Lauren Manoogian, and Jacques Soloviere.

“We met in 2012 and have been growing ever since. This June marks 11 years, which feels wild in the best way. We’ve changed, evolved, supported each other through so much — and somehow it still feels like we’re just getting started.”

For Quinton and Nadia, returning to Seattle was about more than relocating. It was a conscious decision to reconnect with a place that had shaped a pivotal part of their lives.
“It wasn’t just a move,” Quinton said. “It was a decision to realign with the people and places that ground us.” After several years of moving between cities, they were ready to settle in a community that felt familiar, especially for their children. “This city holds so much of our story,” he added. “It’s where we became a family. It’s where we feel most like ourselves.”
“We’ve lived in a lot of places, but Seattle is where we feel at home,” Nadia said. “There’s a sense of belonging here that we didn’t find anywhere else. Our community is here. It’s where we feel connected, supported, and rooted.”

Nomad Studios began as a personal outlet for Quinton, a space to explore creativity beyond the structure of professional football. What started with custom cleats and sketchbooks of ideas gradually evolved into something more intentional.
“For me, fashion has always been about simplicity and comfort,” he said. “Whether I’m traveling, at home, or just out with my kids, I want what I wear to reflect who I am. Grounded, expressive, and low key. It’s about moving through the world with ease.
"Nomad Studios started as a creative outlet, a way to express myself beyond football. I’ve always loved fashion and music, and this was a chance to bring those passions together in a way that felt honest. It’s still growing, but that’s what makes it exciting.” The brand reflects the same thoughtful balance he brings to his personal style. It is meant to feel lived in, functional, and deeply individual."
