(Ideally ages 5+) Terrariums are mini-ecosystems, tiny gardens that can be created inside a covered glass or plastic container. They are a great visual demonstration not only of the growth cycle of plants but of evaporation, condensation and precipitation. Tassy covers step-by-step instructions for construction with her son, Peregrine.
