Asparagus ferns are not true ferns, but instead, belong in the asparagus family. They are native to South Africa and fairly hardy despite their delicate appearance.
LIGHT: Grown best in bright, indirect light or direct morning sun. Lower light levels may cause yellow fronds, thus ferns should be rotated frequently.
WATER: Allow the top 25% of the soil to dry before watering. Yellow stems generally indicate the need for more water. Brown stems usually indicate overwatering. This plant can tolerate drought slightly better than other ferns. Plants require more water in the spring-summer and less in the fall-winter.
FERTILIZER: Spring through fall 1x/mo
TOXICITY: This plant is toxic to people and pets.
Decorative Pot Option: Cercle Pot
