A Taste of Burundi, Stamp Act Coffee Tasting Workshop

In partnership with local coffee roasters, Stamp Act Coffee we are hosting a coffee tasting event featuring eight Burundian coffees. All proceeds from this event will support Long Miles’ reforestation project, “Trees for Kibiria.” On the nose and on the tongue, the coffee blushes bright with notes of raspberry accented with citrus. Its well-balanced, velvety body carries hints of herb and chocolate straight through to its distinctive lingering floral finish. The complex flavor profile distinguishes Burundi coffee from other African coffees.   Course Includes:Burundi coffee tasting, 8 varieties12 oz. They are slow-growing, attractive, and make excellent foliage plants. They have large, narrow, and glossy oval leaves on short stems. In regard to light, a good rule is that the lighter the variegation, the more light it needs.   LIGHT: The darker green varieties of Aglaonema can grow in near shade, while the variegated varieties require brighter light. Do not expose any Aglaonema to direct sun. WATER: Allow top 25% of soil to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly in the summer and mist the plant often to raise the humidity. During the winter, reduce watering, but do not let the plant dry out completely. TEMPERATURE: These plants do not like cold drafts or temperatures below 65 F. Keep them away from drafty windows or vents. Keep them warm in the winter. POTTING: A well-drained all purpose potting soil is perfect.
