Zamioculcus Zamiifolia aka "ZZ Plant" is a succulent native to South Africa and thrives on neglect. They have glossy green foliage that forms a zig-zag pattern with an upright growth habit. It is one of the easiest plants to grow.
LIGHT: These plants can take a range of light from extremely low light to bright indirect light or direct morning sun.
WATER: Water thoroughly, then allow the top 75% of soil to dry out before watering again. Yellow leaves usually indicate overwatering or severe underwatering. Keep the soil even drier in lower light. Soggy soil will cause the rhizomes to rot.
TEMPERATURE: An ideal range is 60-80 degrees.
FERTILIZER: Fertilize during their active growing season when they are producing new leaves (spring-fall).
REPOTTING: Plants produce more leaves when rootbound.
TOXICITY: Plant is toxic and should be kept away from children and pets.
