Dracaena masoniana Whale Fin, "Snake Plant"
$50
Originally native to South Africa, the Snake Plant (formerly classified as Sansevieria) is one of the hardiest indoor plants available. It thrives on neglect and can also take a range of light, which makes it a good option for many homes and offices. This plant was also listed as one of NASA's top 10 best air purifying plants. They can remove benzene, formaldehyde, and other chemicals from the air. LIGHT This plant can take a broad range of light from full sun to low light. However, the more sun the plant receives, the quicker the leaves will grow. WATER Water a snake plant sparingly. It is better to underwater than to over water. Make sure to use a well-draining soil medium and ensure soil is dry at least 50% down between waterings. In the winter, when the plant goes through dormancy and receives less light, water the plant only 1-2x/month. TEMPERATURE The ideal temperature range is 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit. FERTILIZER Only use fertilizer during the active growing season (April-October) with 1/2 strength cactus food. Do not use fertilizers containing nitrates. TOXICITY Plant is toxic and should be kept away from pets and children. Plants are for in-store pickup only.

Takazawa Candle, Tohaku Small Candle Pack + Stand
$84
The Tohaku candle shape is an homage to the 'Pine Trees screen,’ drawn by Tohaku Hasegawa, one of the most famous painters in Japan. The pine trees in the paintings are from the landscape of Nanao City, and he drew it while recollecting his memories of the beautiful nature of his childhood home. The flame is an extension of the gentle lines of these trees, a reminder of a rustic simplicity. Since 1892, Takazawa preserves the tradition of Japanese candle-making with superb craftsmanship while utilizing unique locally sourced plant materials. The thick wicks are made from washi paper wound with dried grass. The wax is made from the fruit of Japanese wax trees that is all natural and uniquely has no drip when burned. Norfolk Island Pine Kokedama 苔玉
$70
TEMPERATURE Room temperature. 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit is best. LIGHT Position to receive at least a few hours of direct sunlight daily and plenty of indirect light throughout the day. Turn the plant a quarter rotation every week to provide even light distribution. WATER Allow the top moss ball to dry slightly. Water by soaking directly in a bowl of water for 30 minutes. Let drip dry and place on ceramic dish. FERTILIZER Apply a water-soluble fertilizer every four months while the tree grows. Any fertilizer suited for indoor foliage plants works fine, or choose a balanced fertilizer such as 10-10-10. Cease fertilizing during the winter months. NOTES Each kokedama is carefully handcrafted by our team. No two kokedama will be exactly alike. Check the humidity levels around the pine with a humidistat. Place a humidifier in the room with the pine if your home has dry conditions. Norfolk pines need a humidity level around 50 per cent. If your humidity only needs raised slightly, place a tray with river pebbles under the pine. Fill it with water to the top of the pebbles. As the water evaporates, it will increase the humidity directly around the tree. *The photos provided are reference photos and are not representative of the kokedama that have been made for this holiday season.

Aglaonema Tigress, "Chinese Evergreen"
$15 to $110
The Aglaonema is a highly decorative plant with several interesting varieties. It is one of the most popular houseplants with a wide range of color combinations and leaf shapes. They are slow-growing, attractive, and make excellent foliage plants. They have large, narrow, and glossy oval leaves on short stems. In regard to light, a good rule is that the lighter the variegation, the more light it needs. LIGHT: The darker green varieties of Aglaonema can grow in near shade, while the variegated varieties require brighter light. Do not expose any Aglaonema to direct sun. WATER: Allow top 25% of soil to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly in the summer and mist the plant often to raise the humidity. During the winter, reduce watering, but do not let the plant dry out completely. TEMPERATURE: These plants do not like cold drafts or temperatures below 65 F. Keep them away from drafty windows or vents. Keep them warm in the winter. POTTING: A well-drained all purpose potting soil is perfect. FERTILIZER: Feed your Aglaonema with an all-purpose fertilizer during the growing season. TOXICITY: Plant is toxic and should be kept away from pets and children. Dieffenbachia Camille, "Dumb Cane"
$12 to $140
Dieffenbachias are fast-growing houseplants that have interesting leaf patterns and colors. Also called "Dumb Cane", these plants are highly toxic and should not be ingested or pruned without gloves. LIGHT Dieffenbachias prefer bright, indirect light or direct morning sun. Too much light will cause leaf color to fade or leaves to burn. Too little light produces small foliage. WATER Allow top 25% of soil to dry between waterings. If soil is too dry, bottom leaves may yellow. If soil is too moist, stems may turn mushy. During the winter season watering should be reduced. FERTILIZER Once per month during the active growing season. TEMPERATURE 60-80F. If exposed to cold drafts, the bottom leaves may turn yellow or the leaves may droop. NOTES Flowers are insignificant and should be removed to provide more energy for new growth.
