Yoko Sakamoto creates everyday clothing with a close attention to fabric and how it changes through wear. Working with weavers, dyers, and makers across Japan, she develops original textiles that give simple shirts, generous trousers, and relaxed jackets their character. Slow weaving and traditional dyeing bring depth to texture and color, while understated cuts allow the materials room to move. Made entirely in Japan, the pieces soften, fade, and become more personal with time.
