The New Shell jacket is cut with a wide, boxy fit, dropped shoulders, and a stand collar with a hidden inner stand. Crafted from MAN-TLE’s proprietary MT-Wax fabric—a dense cotton cloth woven in Shizuoka, Japan, from Australian and American yarns, then paraffin wax-coated and baked in Fukui. Initially crisp, structured, and heavyweight, the waxed shell characteristically softens, fades, and molds to the wearer over time, developing a unique patina and soft structure with age and wear. Detailed with enlarged front pocket flaps, an elasticated back hemline, and finished with a heavy-duty, double-ended size-10 YKK zip closure.
