On a clear winter day, we took the ferry out to Vashon Island. The largest island in Puget Sound with no bridges to connect the island with the mainland, a big factor contributing to the island's relative isolation and rural character. We find such beauty in the quite way of life found out there. We spent the day bundled up and wrapped in a good book. Took sometime to let the cold wind keep us inside.
