Plant-based paint can be applied and utilized in a variety of ways from home improvement projects, an added layer for dessert decorations, and of course, to create textured paintings and art pieces.

This workshop is in collaboration with Seattle-based artist Bethanie Jones and will explore her use of natural paint and pigment that was showcased in our recent artist feature, "Sensory Romance." Her collection of paintings are on display at Glasswing through the end of the month.

GREENHOUSE WORKSHOP
This is a hands-on workshop and includes everything needed to create plant-based paints and guidance on application. Students will mix their own paints and create one of a kind paintings on wood to take home. Workshops take place at the Glasswing Greenhouse, located in Seattle at 1351 E. Olive Way on Capitol Hill.
