Straight Trousers, Cement

An easy fitting pant with a wide straight leg, front creased pleats, and a relaxed fit. Made from a crisp slightly wrinkled Japanese cotton, dyed and sun-dried in the traditional Azumadaki process. Finished with a zipper fly and button closure, side seam pockets and rear welt pockets.  The dyeing process in Azumadaki, which has been in use for 300 years, is carried out in small vats by skilled artisans. They take into consideration the temperature and humidity of the day. This small-scale dyeing process, followed by sun drying, results in unique textured fabric, giving it a soft and relaxed feel. Due to the nature of this craftsmanship, each fabric roll has unique coloration with natural wrinkles.   Pair this with the Black Crane Blazer in Cement   fit Jane is 5'9" and typically wears a size 26 in bottoms. A 3/1 twill weave, it has an indigo-dyed yarn over undyed natural yarn, creating a rigid texture that will soften with wear and use. When washed, the garment will stretch to the wearer's shape. Over time the fabric will develop a unique patina.
