This Kentia palm is an elegant option for a large specimen indoor plant. Their large sweeping fronds have a graceful, calming appearance. This variety of palm is slow growing which is why larger specimens are more expensive. Kentias are durable and very forgiving and make for a great option for home or office. Pilea peperomioides, "Friendship Plant"

The Chinese money plant became popularized in minimally designed Scandinavian interiors, with its bright green circular-shaped leaves. Also known as the missionary plant, lefse plant, pancake plant, UFO plant it is actually originally from the southwestern Yunnan province of China. Popular lore maintains that a Norwegian missionary, Agnar Espegren, took cuttings home with him in the 1940s, and shared them with friends and family. Those plants were spread throughout Scandinavia, and eventually the world, as people passed cutting between friends. LIGHT: Bright indirect light or direct morning sun. Avoid strong afternoon sun. Rotate regularly to keep plant growing symmetrically. WATER: Allow top surface of soil to dry slightly between waterings. POTTING: Not recommended for potting in a container without a drain hole. Pot in a light airy mix with some peat moss. Raphidophora tetrasperma is a fast-growing vining plant, sought after for its unique fenestrated leaves. Sometimes called “Dwarf Monstera” or “Monstera Ginny” due to is resemblance to Monstera deliciosa, the leaves of Raphidophora tetrasperma are similarly split with “windows,” but unlike the Monstera, stay quite small. The Swiss cheese plant is a tropical ornamental that has aerial roots growing downwards from the stem. These roots easily once reaching the ground, giving this plant a vine-like tendency. The Swiss cheese plant gets its name from its large, heart-shaped leaves, which as it ages, becomes covered with holes that resemble Swiss cheese. M. adansonii is best grown in a conservatory or greenhouse, where humidity, temperature, and light are all maximized. These are deep-jungle plants that thrive on very high humidity, lots of moisture during the rainy season and high temps. Adult plants are also climbers, so they can be aggressive if grown correctly. LIGHT: Bright light, but not direct sunlight. WATER: High humidity. Keep soil continuously moist throughout spring and summer, and reduce watering in the winter. TEMPERATURE: Prefers warm and humid conditions. Keep above 60ºF if possible, but it can survive brief cold spells with some die-back. They come in a variety of different colorings and are easy to care for and grow almost anywhere, which make them a perfect houseplant for beginners.
