They are industrial, yet modern with a slightly tapered shape and pair well with any plant. Patt pots have a curved bottom creating a grounding shape.    Since these pots do not have a drainage, we recommend keeping your plant in its plastic grower's pot and simply placing it inside of this pot. Peperomia argyreia 'Watermelon'

Peperomia plants come from the Amazon region of South America. They are semi-succulents with easy-to-grow care habits. There are over 1600 varieties of peperomias all belonging to the Pepper family. This specific variety is named after the watermelon for its similarity of appearance to the rind of a watermelon.   LIGHT: Bright, indirect light or direct morning sun. Philodendron adansonii, "Swiss Cheese Plant"

The Swiss cheese plant is a tropical ornamental that has aerial roots growing downwards from the stem. These roots easily once reaching the ground, giving this plant a vine-like tendency. The Swiss cheese plant gets its name from its large, heart-shaped leaves, which as it ages, becomes covered with holes that resemble Swiss cheese. M. adansonii is best grown in a conservatory or greenhouse, where humidity, temperature, and light are all maximized. These are deep-jungle plants that thrive on very high humidity, lots of moisture during the rainy season and high temps. Adult plants are also climbers, so they can be aggressive if grown correctly.   LIGHT: Bright light, but not direct sunlight. WATER: High humidity. Keep soil continuously moist throughout spring and summer, and reduce watering in the winter. TEMPERATURE: Prefers warm and humid conditions. Keep above 60ºF if possible, but it can survive brief cold spells with some die-back. POTTING: A very well-drained potting mix, including plenty of perlite. Almost an orchid mix. Feed regularly with liquid fertilizer throughout the growing season. PROPAGATION:  Propagation by stem cuttings by using a rooting hormone. Keep cuttings warm and protected until new growth emerges. Philodendron micans, "Velvet Leaf Philodendron"

Originally found in the Caribbean, the micans is loved for its velvety sheen and colorfully varied foliage. In their natural habitat, micans will grow against a host tree and root into the bark. Allow your micans to trail for a long and delicate effect, or encourage climbing with a trellis or moss pole for more dense foliage.    LIGHT: Medium to bright, indirect light or some direct morning sun. Micans can survive in lower light, but the plant may become leggy. Avoid afternoon direct sun as it may burn the leaves. WATER: Water thoroughly so that water drains out the bottom of the pot, then allow the top 30% of soil to dry before watering again. Make sure the potting medium is fast-draining to prevent root rot. Do not overwater. Signs of overwatering might include water droplets or yellowing edges on the leaves. Unlike most vining philodendrons, the congo will grow upward and out from the center with deep green ovate leaves and a sprawling habit. Rotate your congo regularly to keep an evenly growing shape.    LIGHT: Bright indirect light. Low light will make the plant leggy and reaching.  WATER: Water thoroughly so that water drains out the bottom of the pot, then allow the top 40% of soil to dry before watering again. Make sure the potting medium is fast-draining to prevent root rot. Do not overwater. Signs of overwatering might include water droplets or yellowing edges on the leaves. Signs of under-watering include brown leaf edges. Adding humidity to the environment is beneficial to increase leaf growth. TEMPERATURE: Between 70-85 degrees. Keep these plants away from cold drafts and air conditioners and keep above 50 degrees. Higher humidity is a plus, but Philodendrons do well in basic household humidity.
